Pilot and Bully products can help you get through the harsh winter

Like the Farmer's Almanac states, this upcoming winter is going to be a bad one. As winter approaches, the amount of time you have left in order to prepare gets smaller and smaller. The coldest weather of the year and snow are nearly upon us. However, Pilot Automotive and Bully have an entire lineup of products that can help you get through the toughest season.

Keeping your seats warm is one of the most important parts of winter driving. Many new vehicles have seat heaters installed from the factory, but this can be a costly option. Many older vehicles and people on a budget are missing out on this new technology. Therefore Pilot has created a lineup of Seat Covers which are both warm and comfortable. They are also made out of high quality materials that will not rip or tear and are stain resistant. They are offered in a wide variety of styles and will fit any type of seat as well. If you want to keep warm this winter while on a budget, Pilot has you covered.

Having a cold steering wheel is not only uncomfortable; it can be a safety hazard. If you cannot have a comfortable grip on the wheel there may be disastrous consequences. Dealing with gloves can also be a chore and may not offer the same amount of feeling. However, with a Pilot Steering Wheel Cover you can get better grip on the steering wheel while also keeping your hands warm. They come in various styles and materials such as their luxurious leather steering wheel covers and the sport mesh variety which allows for more grip. However, the ideal one for the winter cold is the one made out of sheepskin. The sheepskin covers are both warm and comfortable for long drives and driving in cold weather. They are also offered in several different colors that match your vehicle's interior.

If you walk in the snow, the soles of your shoes will get wet and slippery. This can make gripping your automotive pedals difficult which is a major safety issue. Pilot Pedal Covers add the much needed grip to your vehicle's pedals which improves safety and add some extra style to your interior. They are made out of materials that help grip your shoes and they are easy to install. They are also very durable and will not corrode due to the salt and water that you bring in on your shoes which means they will be a long lasting addition to your vehicle.

With winter, there is no shortage of wet snow and sleet. Not only do your shoes get wet from the weather conditions, they also get covered in salt and sand in an attempt to keep you from slipping. All of this can ruin your vehicle's interior if it is not protected properly. Luckily, Pilot Floor Mats can help protect your interior from whatever the winter throws at you. They cover up the vulnerable automotive interior carpet which can get easily stained. Since they are waterproof, they can also protect your new car's electronic systems which are often underneath the front carpet of a vehicle. While the Pilot mats are universally fitting, The Bully Truck Mats are molded specifically for your truck. They offer a custom fit for a wide variety of trucks and they are made out of rugged waterpoof vinyl that protects your truck's floor. This also makes their cleanup easy since you can just hose them off when they get dirty. Installing Pilot Floor Mats is also very easy, there are no tools required and the process only takes a few minutes.

JE Pistons are the perfect choice for your modified engine

If you are like many people who modify their vehicle's engine to make more horsepower and torque, you are most likely going to need forged pistons at some point. These stronger pistons will allow you to make more power safely and reliably. Stock pistons are most often cast pistons which are made in a different process which makes them both cheaper to produce and weaker than forged ones. They suit the needs for the average driver, but if you are interested getting more horsepower out of your engine; you are going to need to upgrade your pistons. Forged pistons are ideal for high compression and turbocharged engines which are under high amounts of stress even at stock power levels.

If you are in the market for forged pistons, JE Pistons are the perfect choice. JE has over 60 years of experience in the piston manufacturing industry and they have many different state of the art processes which differentiate them from the rest. They use special manufacturing processes which utilize brand new CNC machines, special forging, and Finite Element Analysis which allows them to test pistons before they are even made. JE also currently supplies pistons to engine builders in NASCAR, ALMS, NHRA, AMA, Supercross and many others. This shows that they are a trusted manufacturer and make a very high quality product.

Once you have chosen JE as your company of choice for your new forged pistons, you need to ask yourself "What type of JE Pistons should I buy"? Luckily, JE makes pistons for a very wide array of engines from manufacturers all around the world. You also need to decide on the model of piston as well since JE offers several different models of pistons with various prices and features. JE also offers many accessories that go along with your new pistons.

If you demand only the best forged pistons and are willing to pay for it, the premier JE Pistons lineup are ideal for you. These "race specific" pistons include every feature that JE offers and can even be customized to fit your order. You just have to send in some specifications and a time frame of when you need them by and you can get a completely custom made set of pistons for your engine. JE Pistons are available in both domestic engines such as Chevrolet, Ford, and Mopar and for imported vehicles. The JE Sport Compact lineup is intended for imported vehicles from both Europe and Asia and work with engines from Subaru, Mitsubishi, Volkswagen, and Porsche. The sport compact lineup works great in the specialized engines that are found in these vehicles. Regardless of your engine's origin, JE can help fit your exact needs with their JE Piston lineup.

If you do not need a completely customized piston with all of the additional features while saving some money in the process, then SRP Pistons from JE are perfect for you. There are also many opinions on the "SRP Pistons vs JE Pistons" discussion. Regardless, SRP Pistons still offer the same strength and durability that the JE lineup, but they lack the ability to be customized. These "catalog only" pistons are also more mass produced than the JE lineup which in turn is cheaper to produce, JE then passes the savings onto the consumer. Recently, JE has also added an additional set of pistons to the SRP lineup. This is the SRP Professional lineup and they offer many of the features found on the premier JE Pistons at a price that is closer to the standard SRP Pistons. These forged pistons are lighter in weight and have stronger materials than the standard SRP ones. However, they are also only sold as a catalog only piston and therefore they are not customizable.

JE does not only make automotive pistons, they also make a full lineup of motorcycle pistons. These pistons offer the same quality and durability as their automotive counterparts, but they are just smaller in size. They are offered for engines from many manufacturers and purposes, including specialized pistons for Harley Davidson motorcycles. On top of motorcycles, JE also offers pistons that work in ATVs, snowmobiles and personal watercraft. These specially designed powersports pistons also offer the same quality as the others, but in a different package. These smaller pistons can also be customized depending on your specific need, which makes them the ideal piston for your motorcycle or other leisure vehicle.

Regardless of your needs, JE has a set of pistons that are ideal for you. They are perfect for any modified engine and they are some of the highest quality forged pistons available. Unfortunately due to the intended use of racing and competitive motorsports, JE Pistons are offered without a warranty. However, due to their strength and durability you would not even notice the lack of a warranty. Finding JE Pistons is also easy as well. We stock a very wide supply of JE Pistons here at Ultrarev at the lowest possible prices.

Lowering your vehicle is all about STANCE

H&R springs are some of the best aftermarket springs money can buy. They have applications for nearly every vehicle and have a huge product lineup that ranges from lowering springs, coilovers, sway bars, camber bolts and other suspension accessories. If you want to give your car increased control, performance, and appearance than H&R is the way to go.

A vehicle's stance is based on a number of factors including wheels, tires and suspension components. The first step into getting your vehicle the perfect stance is by removing those OEM springs and using either H&R lowering springs or H&R coilovers. H&R coilovers will allow you to dial in the perfect stance for your vehicle and you can ride at factory height or drop it to the ground with more than two inches of lowering capability. H&R springs are set at a specific lowering height that ranges from .25" to more than 2".

H&R springs combines German engineering with quality materials that give your vehicle impeccable performance and ride comfort. If you decide to go with H&R coilovers, their Street Performance SS coilovers have shock damping adjustment so you can set the ride comfort from soft to firm. Soft will provide you with a smooth ride on all surfaces while the firm setting allows you to get in and out of turns much quicker through decreasing body roll.

To beef up the suspension even more, H&R sway bars can be used in both the front and back to tighten up the loose suspension that comes from the factory. Their sway bars are much thicker than your OE sway bars which adds to the suspension stiffness. Although they tighten up your car, the sway bars are not too firm for everyday driving, but rather just right. They will benefit any vehicle both on the street and on the track and also decrease the wear of your tires.

Aside from performing just great, H&R springs look just as good. They really stand out behind any wheel, especially aftermarket wheels. H&R springs make a great show piece that can get your vehicle the win at the show. The craftsmanship that is put into every product is unmatched and superior to many other companies. Their corrosion resistant surface allows them to be used in all types of road conditions while lasting extremely long.

The lower you go with your vehicle, the more negative camber you will have. Negative camber is liked and wanted by most aftermarket tuners, but it is not tire-friendly. Using H&R camber bolts can help out with this to a great extent and correct most of that negative camber. They are adjustable too, so if you like some negative camber than you can have your cake and it eat it too.

Provide Your Engine With a Better Spark Using Magnecor Ignition Cables

A bad performing engine is usually the result of worn out and old spark plug wires. The best solution for this is to replace them with Magnecor ignition wires. Not only are they made for nearly every engine ever produced, but they deliver a better spark than other comparable spark plug cables. Magnecor wires are perfect for either your high performance vehicle or just as OEM replacement ignition cables. They will most likely outlast anything you have ever had before and could last the life of your engine.

Magnecor ignition cables allow your engine to be more efficient than it was previously. Although it will not exactly increase horsepower, it will deliver the air and fuel mixture a better and stronger spark for combustion. This is especially needed if you have an upgraded ignition system in which a strong spark is being delivered to begin with. Any engine that is equipped with forced induction should also consider Magnecor spark plug wires since more spark is needed for the extra air and fuel that is being mixed.

A typical engine tuneup usually consists of new spark plugs, spark plug wires and a cap and rotor. All of these components affect how the ignition system performs and directly relates to engine efficiency. Cut and damaged spark plug wires can leak out spark energy in which engine performance will suffer and can often not be diagnosed at first glance. You or your mechanic can overhaul the engine to find the problems when it is simply the bad spark plug cables. Ultrarev carries Magnecor ignition cables for both OEM applications and high performance vehicles at some of the best prices found.

EMI, or electromagnetic interference is something most of the general public may not know about. EMI is when aftermarket spark plug wires send sporadic signals to various on-board engine computers which decreases efficiency and can cause engine misfires. Magnecor ignition cables are designed to suppress EMI better than any other ignition cable. EMI began to really effect vehicles as technology grew and things like radios and various sensors were being used. The interference needed to be stopped and around the late 1960s, companies got away from copper conductor cables, which have no EMI suppression, and turned to carbon conductor cables.

Along with providing ignition cables for practically every engine made, Magnecor wires can still be custom made to your specific engine. This is something not many companies offer and you can rely on Magnecor to get it right. Their ignition wire sets range from 7mm thick up to 10mm thick for those high performance needs. The thicker wire has a thicker jacket which will withstand higher temperatures inside the engine bay. Ultrarev can satisfy all of your spark plug wire needs, whether you need it for your daily driver or your weekend track monster.

The Driveshaft Shop Driveshafts and Axles

Getting that power to your wheels will not happen if you do not have the proper driveshaft and axles to handle it. A factory driveshaft can only handle the power that the engine has from the factory and adding performance parts will put some additional stress on the shaft. The same goes for your stock axles as they can only handle the power they are rated for and not meant for high performance applications like drag racing or street racing. The Driveshaft Shop produces both their driveshafts and axles for specific vehicles, like imports and domestics, and can also make you a custom setup for your application.

The Driveshaft Shop driveshafts are available in chromoly, carbon fiber, steel and aluminum to fit any application you need it for. For a lightweight driveshaft, aluminum or carbon fiber would be the way to go and is perfect for lighter vehicles. Heavier vehicles with extreme horsepower should look towards a steel driveshaft or chromoly driveshaft because they can handle the stress much better and transfer the torque more efficiently. The Driveshaft Shop balances all of their performance driveshafts before they send them out so you will experience no vibrations and can benefit from its performance immediately. Ultrarev has all your Driveshaft Shop needs at some of the best prices on the web.

With so many different axles to choose from, you are bound to find what you need. The Driveshaft Shop axles range from stock replacement all the way up to extreme horsepower applications in which they can handle upwards of 1000HP. Ultrarev carries level 0 through level 5.9 axles so upgrading your current ones is right at your fingertips. Whether you have a small Honda hatch or a heavy Dodge Charger, The Driveshaft Shop axles will benefit both applications. They can even shave off some of your quarter mile time, especially in the first 60 feet where time is crucial.

Purchasing performance parts from Ultrarev is the only way to ensure that your products will retain the factory warranty. We are an authorized reseller for any and all of The Driveshaft Shop products.

Performance Clutches and Flywheels From Spec!

Whether you are looking for a replacement clutch for your worn-out factory one, or you need a high performance clutch to go along with your performance enhancements, Spec clutch has what you need. They product their performance clutches in more than 5 different types to accommodate vehicles with mild performance enhancements all the way up to extreme high performance vehicles with superchargers and turbo chargers. The factory clutch is not designed to handle any additional power other than what the engine has from the factory. Spec clutches and flywheels are much stronger than any OEM products while being a perfect fit for your specific vehicle and torque specifications.

The Spec stage 1 clutch is the beginning of the line and is perfect for anyone looking for a strong performance clutch to use on a vehicle that is near stock. It combines everything that an OEM clutch offers but with better power handling capabilities. As the stages get higher, so do the torque ratings. The higher you go, like Spec stage 4 clutch and Spec stage 5 clutch, the rougher the clutch engagement is and these clutches are not really meant for daily driving. They will wear out your leg extremely quick and should only be used on the race track or drag strip. Ultrarev has all your Spec clutch needs along with the most affordable prices found on the web.

Along with the Spec clutch kit, they also offer performance flywheels that are designed in both steel and aluminum. The Spec aluminum flywheel provides both strength and less weight than your original flywheel. It will free up some power so it can be used elsewhere. The Spec steel flywheel is strong for high performance vehicles that need a durable flywheel to transfer the high amounts of torque.

It is also recommended to use the Spec clutch along with the Spec flywheel to give your vehicle maximum performance and the most perfect fit. Their clutch kits match perfect with either flywheel and the clutch disc will sit nice and tight. Mating clutch and driveline parts from different companies could cause some problems.
Spec tests each clutch with their specific flywheels for the best compatibility and performance.

Spec clutches and flywheels are superior to other clutch and driveline components because of the great warranty that is backed. If their clutches or flywheels break for any reason, they will replace it. However, the Spec clutch kit must be broken in properly and installed on a vehicle that the specified torque rating. Any Spec clutch that is not broken in or use on a vehicle in which the torque is much higher than what it is rated for, they will not cover it.

Replace Your Worn-Out Suspension Bushings With Polyurethane Bushings From Energy Suspension

Automotive suspension bushings act just the same for your vehicle as cartilage does in the human body. Suspension bushings are located throughout the vehicle and allow components to pivot. If bushings were not used, the ride would be very harsh and noisy. Rubber bushings are equipped on nearly every vehicle that comes from the factory, yet they can wear out very quick. Rubber is affected by outside conditions like snow and salt, and is also affected by the ozone which breaks the rubber down. Once your factory bushings are worn down, the vehicle will handle sloppy and the ride will be rough.

Energy Suspension bushings are polyurethane bushings that are superior to rubber. Not only will they last longer, but they can handle both high performance vehicles and daily drivers. They are available in different durometers from firm to stiff that allows you to choose the stiffness of your ride. The stiffer bushings are perfect for vehicles that operate at high speeds on the race track, while the softer ones will tighten up the suspension without being too firm.

Once your factory bushings have worn out, they also cause the vehicle to fall out of alignment. This is bad for your tires as well as your various suspension components. Your tires will wear unevenly and also wear out prematurely. Each and every suspension component is linked together with a bushing. Replacing them with Energy Suspension bushings will ensure longer life and better ride quality for now and the future. Ultrarev has all your performance bushing needs including Energy Suspension control arm bushings, Energy Suspension motor mounts, Energy Suspension transmission mounts, Energy Suspension end link bushings and Energy Suspension sway bar bushings.

Energy Suspension bushings do not succumb to the same elements that rubber ones do. They resist against all heat ranges, snow, salt, water, oil, and other harmful chemicals. Their hyper-flex technology allows for this while still giving the vehicle ride comfort, quality and durability. Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings typically last 5 to 10 times longer than rubber ones do and are much more affordable. Ultrarev has the best prices for all of your performance auto parts needs.

Polyurethane bushings from Energy Suspension also come in different colors that will allow your vehicle to stand out. They are perfect for show vehicle since they are available in both red and black. Rubber bushings do not look nearly as pleasing as polyurethane bushings do since rubber fades so easy.

Every vehicle can benefit from Energy Suspension bushings as they are made for nearly every car, truck or SUV on the road. Either vehicle specific, or custom applications, their bushings will bring your vehicle back to the way it was when you first took it for a drive. Performance auto parts have never been so affordable here at Ultrarev!

Keep Your Engine Cool With SPAL Cooling Fans!

SPAL Automotive is the number one supplier of engine cooling fans for your car, truck or SUV. SPAL USA has been perfecting their electric cooling fans for many years and offer them for aftermarket purposes as well as OEM replacement cooling fans. They are also a Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier for automobile companies. When you buy a new vehicle, it may be equipped with a SPAL cooling fan!

Have you ever wondered why your engine needs a cooling fan? Well for one, when you are at idle, there is very little air that is entering your engine bay. There may be even zero air if the weather outside has no breeze. SPAL cooling fans are needed to keep your heat exchangers and engine from overheating. They keep your radiator, AC condenser, intercooler, oil cooler and engine temperature regulated so the vehicle can perform at its best. Ultrarev.net has SPAL fans that range from a few inches in diameter all the way up to 16 inches for large applications.

Hot summer days also heat up the area inside your engine bay. With all of the moving engine parts, temperatures reach well over 180 degrees and need to be regulated. Their electric fans will provide more air to your application and last longer than any other cooling fan. They can be wired into your existing OEM harness by using the SPAL wiring harness for quick installation. The electric fans can be used to work with your existing thermostat as well. Users will not have to worry about this if they are using the fans as OEM replacement.

Your high performance vehicle would also benefit from a SPAL cooling fan. Vehicles that operate at high speeds need faster cooling to keep the performance level up. SPAL high performance fans do not have a motor that is sealed, so driving on the street is not recommended. However, all other fans designed for OEM replacement or everyday driving have a motor that is sealed to prevent against water and dirt.

Ultrarev has everything you need to install your SPAL cooling fans as well. You can choose from mounting feet, gaskets and wiring harnesses that will make installation a breeze. You do not want to be caught rigging up your own brackets and then have them fail on you! Do it right the first time and outfit your vehicle with SPAL cooling fans and SPAL accessories.

K&N Performance Parts are Affordable, Durable and Flashy!

Adding performance parts to your vehicle can be expensive and can add up into the thousands of dollars when finished. If you are looking for affordable performance auto parts that will still boost your engine's power, then you should look towards K&N air filters and K&N air intakes. They have air intakes for all types of models including cars, trucks and SUVs. They also have air filters for the same type of vehicles which are a great upgrade in themselves. Your engine must be protected at all times to keep it running smooth. K&N performance parts filter out 99% of harmful contaminants to keep your engine clean from dirt and debris.

K&N air filters are the best air filters on the market. They are superior to your factory air filter because of the cotton media they are made from. They use a unique oil treatment that protects the cotton and traps dirt and debris, while still maintaining optimum air flow. Factory air filters become very clogged and cannot filter the air like they once did. K&N air filters also last up to 100,000 miles before cleaning, while your current filter must be replaced every 10,000-15,000 miles. Once you buy a K&N filter, you will not have to buy another air filter again. These filters also add some horsepower to the engine by supplying it with more air. Ultrarev has the lowest prices on the market for all of your K&N performance parts!

So you added the K&N air filter, and it was not enough for you. Adding the K&N air intake would be the next step to adding power because as an enthusiast, you would like more horses and throttle response when you step on the pedal. You will also notice some additional torque along with the power gains. K&N air intakes offer significant amounts of additional horsepower through improving air flow and also boost your gas mileage. K&N air intakes are available for cars, trucks, motorcycles, SUVs, muscle cars and RVs.

K&N air intakes look very appealing under the hood and also come in select colors. The factory air box is ugly and does not offer any aesthetics when you flip open the hood. When you add a K&N air intake, you receive a quality part with quality looks.

Interior Vehicle Protection - What do you use?

Whats the best way to protect your vehicle's carpet and floors? If you said floor mats, then you are correct! This is the number one way of preventing damage to your carpet from stains, dirt and other debris. Weathertech floor mats and Husky Liners offer some of the best floor protection products available today. They each have their advantages but will protect your carpet better than anything else.

Why should you protect your carpets? Well, for one, dirty carpets do not look very appealing. Your passengers may not even want to sit in the car with you. Once dirt builds up, the carpets will start to smell which is impossible to get rid of. You may be at a loss when this happens and probably want to get a new car or truck. Prevent this from happening and get a set of Weathertech floor mats or Husky Liners today!

You will also protect your vehicle's resale value when selling it or trading it in for a new car. Weathertech floor mats and Husky Liners are very affordable additions that can save you thousands of dollars in the long run. Dirty and damaged carpets will turn any potential buyer away. Just ask yourself if you would buy a car with damaged carpets. The answer is most likely no.

Why aren't the floor mats that come with my car good enough? The ones that come with your vehicle are made from carpet and become dirty and damaged just like the carpet underneath. They also bunch up and slide around which makes it difficult to drive. The floor mats can also become lodged under the pedals while driving which is very dangerous. Weathertech floor mats and Husk Liners are made from materials that repel dirt and debris while maintaining their position due to a specially designed underside. The underside has nibs that keep the floor mats in place.

Clear plastic floor mats are no good for your vehicle because they turn yellow from dirt and crack from cold temperatures. Weathertech floor mats and Husky Liners will never crack or break from extreme heat or extreme cold and maintain their level of flexibility. Backed by their specific warranties, these floor mats will outlast your vehicle as well!

Your Automotive Brake Pads Simply Aren't Good Enough

Have you ever looked at the front wheels of your vehicle and notice all the debris on them? This is brake dust, which is common with OEM brake pads. Upgrading to EBC brake pads will reduce this dust to half and even more depending on which ones you choose. EBC Ultimax pads are direct OEM replacements for basic daily driving and give off less dust with improved braking power. If you have to smash your brake pedal to the floor for it to slow down, then chances are your brake pads need to be replaced. Upon replacement, you will not have to clean your wheels for thousands of miles. Ultrarev has every possible type of brake pad available along with the best prices!

If you are hearing some squealing from your brakes while slowing down, your brake pads also need to be replaced. There is a small piece of metal on each brake pad that acts as a wear bar. When the brake pad is worn out, the wear bar will rub on the rotor, letting you know its time to be changed! If you need a stronger pad for more spirited driving, then the EBC greenstuff brake pads are for you. Their organic compound is super soft and noiseless for a quite drive. They are also more affordable then all other replacement brake pads.

For track and race day, you need something strong that can handle high temperatures and constant braking. The OEM brake pads on your vehicle simply will not handle these types of driving situations. The pads will heat up too quick and crack. Your day will be cut short. EBC bluestuff, EBC orangestuff and EBC yellowstuff will fit your needs depending on what you are looking for. These are all rated for high performance racing conditions. They are a harder compound and have a wide heat range to handle both hot and cold temperatures, but perform at their peak during hot conditions.

Research is key when upgrading your brake pads. If you choose the wrong ones, they can be the underlying cause of why your brakes are failing. Soft pads should not be used on high performance vehicles, just like hard pads should not be used on vehicles that are driven under normal circumstances. Aftermarket pads are a common upgrade these days, as most people want to avoid the car dealerships.

Ballin' on a Budget

As a member to a bunch of automotive forums, I often see bad installations that can affect everyday driving and are dangerous. This one took my by surprise. I witness many users trying to save money when lowering their car. I always say do it right the first time and it will save you money in the long run. This one example took it to the extreme. Lowering a car takes time, money and knowledge. The suspension is a huge component on any vehicle. The aftermarket scene is littered with bad installations, horrible suspension setups and unsafe driving situations. When lowering a car, quality suspension components and quality installations go hand in hand. Having proper alignment is essential to drivability, handling and tire wear. Too much negative camber and the tires will wear out excessively quick. Parts like control arms and axles must be reconnected the proper way to prevent any catastrophic failures. What this Honda owner did with his vehicle is just mind blowing. He is putting himself and others in danger when driving.

Camaro ZL1 vs. Nissan GT-R

The debate between these two high powered vehicles shouldn't even be. Comparing a muscle car with a super car is like bringing a gun to a knife fight. The Camaro ZL1 is a great car, no doubt about it. It has a V8 580 hp engine, traction management, RWD, and muscle car DNA. All muscle cars are designed to perform best in a straight line. The Nissan GT-R would put the Camaro to shame on both street and track. The GT-R was built to take on the best vehicles in the world, not the ZL1. Sure, some enthusiasts want domestic over import any day, and that's their preference. But when comparing these side by side, the GT-R wins everyday. Nissan's GT-R combines a twin-turbo V6 with AWD handling to make an incredible car. The real debate would be the ZL1 vs. the new Shelby GT500. What do you guys think?

Gone in 60 Seconds

How many of you have seen Gone in 60 Seconds? You know, the movie with Nicholas Cage and his infamous Eleanor 1967 Mustang? Well, the classic just sold for a whopping $1.1 Million at the Mecum Auto Auction. This 1967 Mustang fastback was used in the movie, and was one out of 11 that were created. Out of the 11, only 3 actually worked, and 2 of them were destroyed during the movie. This left only 1. Chip Foose had a hand in this build, helping out Cinema Vehicle Services who recreated the car. Although not used in the movie, the crew at Classic Recreations can build you one for a mere $139,900. This isn't bad considering what it has to offer. Everything from the frame up is new, making it that much better than your classic led sled that's building dust and inheriting rust sitting in the garage.

Acura NSX Anyone?

Ever since 2005, enthusiasts have been waiting for Honda to bring back its infamous NSX. Production began in 1991 for this supercar, and came to a halt in the early years of the new millennium. It was state-of-the-art for its time and became increasingly popular. Finding an NSX today can be challenging. NSX owners do not want to give up their seemingly rare sports car. Honda has plans on releasing their newly designed and re-engineered NSX in 2015, or so they say. The new look is what today's technology is all about. It will also be an electronic engine. Honda is calling it their Sport Hybrid, which combines all-wheel drive and great gas mileage with a supercar feel. Price remains unknown, but we can expect it to be much more than the GT-R from Nissan, which almost reaches $100,000. Who's name is on the top of the pre-order list?

Ultrarev: The Beginning

Currently located in Farmingdale, NJ, Ultrarev began as a custom tuner shop in the Queens area of New York. It was running under the name "Civicshop". The shop consisted of a few lifts and a couple of technicians. Due to the aftermarket industry booming, the company needed to expand and that was when Ultrarev.com was created. The company eventually moved to where it sits now back in 2008. Ultrarev.net carries some of the biggest names in the industry including K&N, Energy Suspension, Spec Clutch, and Borla. Customers have over 250,000 aftermarket performance parts to choose from. With the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S hitting the market, Ultrarev is proud to support both those vehicles with numerous amounts of performance parts. The staff at Ultrarev provides quality support along with low everyday prices to accommodate any car enthusiast.

F1 Car Simulator

You don't need to be a professional F1 race car driver to have the experience. Costco U.K. has made it easy for anyone with a load of cash to drive an F1 race care. Costco isn't just about packaged goods and large cases of water. The F1 simulator costs a whopping $115,000. The simulator is very realistic as well. The body of the car consists of carbon fiber details with the driver having complete control of the wheel. Brembo brakes accent the wheels which have Pirelli tires wrapped around them. You'll never have to leave your house again. Oh, and a custom paint job is included in the price as well. Not bad, right? You go in for some groceries and end up calling your buddy for his trailer to get the car home.

Retrofit Headlights

Looking for more light output from your headlights? Aftermarket light bulbs are a common upgrade among enthusiasts. They are an inexpensive upgrade and provide some more light output. A retrofit headlight consists of the OEM headlight housing with a projector mounted on the inside. The light output from a projector can be double from the factory headlight. Retrofitting headlights is an easy task for anyone with mild mechanical skills. Heat the headlight up in the oven, pry apart the front lens from the back and mount the projector. Retrofitting headlights can be somewhat costly, but are extremely better than factory headlights. Here is a great link to a VW DIY for retrofitting headlights. For a video, click here.

Toyota's 2JZ Engine

How many Lexus IS300 SportCross wagons have you guys seen? This one really took me by surprise. Not only is it rare, but its a perfect candidate for a turbo. Toyota's 2JZ is one of the best NA engines around. The owner of this Lexus obviously knew what he was working with. The 2JZ engine can be highly modified and is highly sought after by car enthusiasts. Its internals and design can take major abuse from an added turbocharger. The Toyota Supra benefits from the 2JZ-GTE, which is a twin-turbocharged engine. Engine internals from the 2JZ-GTE can be swapped to the 2JZ for upgraded performance. Both the Lexus IS300 and Toyota Supra are becoming more and more rare in today's world. Bulletproof engines aren't so common anymore!

iPhone-Controlled Suspension

Wait, what? That's right. KW suspension has created their coilover system to be electronically controlled via iPhone. Toss away those spanning wrenches and adjustable tools. Download the app on your iPhone and watch it go to work. Both dampening and height can be adjusted on the KW DDC coilovers. Are you leaving the grocery store and headed right for the track? Open the app on your iPhone and have the suspension adjusted by the time you arrive. Throwing more weight in the trunk for you and your golfing buddies? Raise the suspension to avoid any wheel rubbing using the iPhone. Sorry Android users, this feature isn't available just yet! Ultrarev.net is the leading supplier of suspension products at some of the lowest prices on the internet.

Supercar or Superfly?

If money was not an issue, I'm sure all of us have a dream car in mine we want. The LFA from Lexus is nothing short of incredible. With a base price of $375,000, the Lexus LFA is part airplane and part car. Its unique and plush interior will have you feeling like a pilot. The exterior of the supercar presents just enough of an exotic look to make a Ferrari do a double-take. The Lexus LFA is so simple, yet so sophisticated that it can be a daily driver or a weekend track monster. Back in 2000, the supercar began its journey to where it stands today. A 12-year process produced such a classy vehicle. With only 500 made, getting your hands on one would be an enormous feat. If not this, maybe wait until 2015 where Acura will release its re-make of the now discontinued NSX. High performance doesn't get much better than one of these supercars.

Automotive Air Intakes

An inexpensive solution for added power and more engine flow is to upgrade to a cold air intake. There are so many different brands on the market and Ultrarev.net carries all of them. You might be considering a short ram intake for its cheaper price and ease of installation, but you're going to run into some problems. The short ram air intake plays victim to heat soak and bogs down the engine. Stick with the cold air intake for optimum air flow and much less heat soak than the short ram intake system. In air intake is just as good as its filter. Ultrarev.net carries everything needed for performance and installation of automotive air intakes.

Honda S2000 Supercharger

Pumping out around 200 horsepower from the factory, Honda's S2000 is very appealing to most enthusiasts. Its lightweight body and rear-wheel drive setup make this sports car quite fun. S2000 owners turn to forced induction to add serious amount of power. The Comptech supercharger tacks on an extra 100 horsepower to put the S2000 over the 300 mark. Ultrarev.net carries various forced induction kits for many vehicles, both import and domestic. Don't be caught this summer without some power under the hood to impress the crowd at the car shows!

Summerize Your Vehicle!

Now that the cold weather, for the most part, is out of the way, we can prepare for the warm weather. After a long cold season, our cars need to be pampered. The engine's oil should be checked and replaced with a K&N oil filter. A smooth running engine only runs on clean oil. Sucking in all that salt and debris from the winter storms wreaks havoc on our air filter. Replace your dry and dirty air intake filter with a quality one from K&N. Ultrarev.net carries many types of filters for any vehicle. Brake pads are crucial to stopping your car or truck. The winter is a harsh environment for many of us. Our car's brakes feel just the same as we do. Upgrade your brakes and rotors for optimal stopping power. A quality set of brake pads and rotors from Stoptech will prevent any chances of the brakes failing. Ultrarev.net has all your needs when getting your car ready for summe

Bride Racing Seats

Red Bride racing seats with Carbon Fiber backing
Bride racing seats have always caught my attention. From their gradient designs to their leather and suede combinations, their products are top notch. Not much can be said about their reputation, either. Much of Bride’s success stems from the tuning world in Japan. Try not to get fooled by fakes. Bride seats have been known to be replicated for a much cheaper cost. Not only can these seats be a safety hazard, but the material used is inferior as well. Authentic parts are the only way to go in the aftermarket industry! I prefer the look and comfort of the Bride Digo. I also like the fact that these seats are offered in all-black as well, giving the car a factory look. Ultrarev carries a wide variety of Bride racing seats at some of the lowest prices around. What Bride racing seats do you like?
